Pazzani & Sandhu attorneys Karen Pazzani and Simar Ahluwalia notched a win in the California Court of Appeal, upholding the lower court’s decision denying a student’s petition for a writ of mandate. Agreeing with our client’s position, the Court of Appeal concluded that the university’s finding that the student cheated on an exam was supported by substantial evidence and the university appropriately followed its procedures in reaching this conclusion. The case is Doe v. University of Southern California, https://www.courts.ca.gov/opinions/nonpub/B328682.PDF.
