OVERVIEW
Joe is a seasoned litigator with nearly two decades of experience in vigorously representing his clients before state and federal courts. He focuses his practice on defending employers facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and related claims, and also has substantial experience defending wage and hour claims, including those brought as class and representative actions. Joe has an established track record of handling difficult matters, balancing client goals with legal strategy in order to drive effective and efficient case results in pre-complaint, administrative, arbitration and litigation settings. Before he joined the Firm, he practiced in the labor and employment departments of two Am Law 100 law firms.
In addition to his employment practice, for the past decade, Joe has performed pro bono work for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Veterans Legal Services Project, assisting armed forces veterans with their record expungements, and clearing citations and warrants.
